My story have come to my last week in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
It happen to be my birthday :) this week.
Tara and Binod is taking me around the surrounding to show me more of their volunteering projects.
First stop is Gyan Bikash Primary School, the school is located in a very poor district of Bhaktapur. Here Tara & Binods organization is able to provide the current 75 students school lunches.
What I didn't know was that the kids and teachers knew it was my B-day. Oh my, can't remember being celebrated that much ever. (Thank you Sarah for tanking pictures.)
Welcome committee lined up with kids giving me flowers and congrats me on my birthday.

The kids had drawn B-days cards for me and sang their B-day song.

I also got the honor to hand out the food delivery.

Second stop, the slum district.

Someone just died on the street.

Kids lay on the cold cement floor and study.

Wish everybody got the chance to meet this kids! Poor, but so full of life.
They have made me a better person.
I want to take my kids, Johan & Alexandra to meet them!!!
When I got "home" the celebration continue on the roof.
What a day!!!! I will never forget!!
