In February 2016, Jan Lindholm passed away from brain cancer. Jan was a kind and generous person and while he lived, he liked to give to charity and wanted to give more. However, giving to large organizations felt impersonal and administration consumes much. After his passing, we, his family, wanted to start a fund in memory of Jan, where the contributions, directly and completely, goes to those in greatest need.

 

After visiting Nepal and Bhaktapur's poor districts and seeing the conditions that children there live under, we knew for certain that Janne would have wanted us to help them receive food and education.

 

In cooperation with Tara, Binod and their friends, who do the work in Nepal without pay, we saw a possibility to do just that, help provide Nepalese children with food and education.
