When we, Maine, Johan and Alexandra, visited a number of places in Bhaktapur's slum and poor districts, it was immediately obvious that there are great needs, both in the short- and long-term, and we wanted to create a fund in Jan's memory to help the children and youth living there as much as possible.

2017

At one school, Saraswoti Lower Secondary School, children attended school laying on cement cold floors. As a first action and with small means we provided these children with tables and pillows to sit on, as well as some school uniforms for the most needy before the cold winter (pictures).

2018

For about 12 month we where able to support  Suberneshower at Katunje with Lunch meals

2020 Gyan Bikash School was in desperate need of more school desks. Many of the children lacked a seat during the school day. 10 tables with benches were ordered as a local carpenter undertook to make.. They turned out blue and beautiful.
