Our goal is to help the Gyan Bikash School in the poor district outside of Bhaktapur. We wish for help to feed hungry children and motivate them to go to school and help them get a good start in life.

We also hope to expand our project by helping both Gyan Bikash School with 100 students and also in granting more of the schools in the slums around Kathmandu.

​

Our first priority is to be able to feed these children one meal per day during the school days. This will motivate the parents to send their children to school instead of sending them to work due to lack of money, which is very common. The children will get an education that will help both the individual child, his or her family, but also a better future for the child as an adult, and in the long run for Nepal as a country. 

​

If possible we want to find sponsors that are willing to help these children continuously on a monthly basis. This to be able to continuously be able to serve these children lunch. However, if you would rather donate once instead, we are of course also very thankful!

​

If we are able to collect more than the cost of lunch, we and Lions Club will together with the teachers decide what their biggest needs are, it might for example be warmer clothes in the winter, or paper and pens to write.
