How did it happen to be Nepal?

Here I will update on how the projects in Nepal progresses, but first give you a snapshot of why it became just Nepal and the two trips there.

For some time I had been looking for somewhere to volunteer for a few weeks in the fall of 2016. Unfortunately, all assignments I could find was 6 months up to a couple of years, which I felt a long time as a first attempt as a volunteer. This meant that the project eventually ended up on the shelf.
I'm probably not the only one who is just annoyed or stopped watching the despaired advertisement that suddenly appears on the right side of the computer screen in over and over. But..... one day it just came to change a lot for me.
Yoga has been a big interest for me for a long time now and one day when I was sitting at my computer and about to order my subscription to the yoga magazine I'm reading, this "annoying advertisement" pops up with the question "Do you want to become a volunteer in Nepal?" Nepal is a country I have been fascinated with since childhood. Kathmandu, could there be any more exotic place on earth ??? Here I could choose how long and in what area. YES !! Perfect as an old nurse, I can choose a hospital and three weeks feel right as a first try. Not quite sure everyone in my surroundings was with me though......
